- For your furry friend, make sure you pack:
- Gauze – to cover and protect scraps
- Wraps – wrap around the gauze and make sure its secured
- Antiseptic Towelette – help wipe down the injured surface and have better control in wiping down
- Tweezers – to remove ticks and splinters
- Hydrogen peroxide – to induce vomiting if needed
- Saline eye drops – help clear out yours dogs eyes from dirt and grime
- needles syringe – if you have give them medicine
- baby aspirin
- Benadryl – don’t forget to get dosage amount recorded somewhere with your pet would need
- For your furry friend, make sure you pack:
- Stay up to date on the weather.
- Make sure to check the weather while you are there regularly! You don’t want your pet to overheat while out. You’ll want to give yourselves adequate water and a rest break. Carry water bottles for yourself and your pet to be hydrated!
- If traveling somewhere during the rainy season, pack a towel so you can towel off your dog if they have a thicker coat!
- Make sure they have a safe space to call their own.
- Bring their toys, bed, and even a blanket that makes them feel at home more! They will feel most comfortable with smells they associate with home. Your pet will be in a new environment and moving regularly enough that they’ll want to have things that remind them of home.
