Triple-check your tires every road trip – at a minimum! Check them before you leave, upon arrival at your destination, and then again before you head back home. You can also check them when you refuel, because often there are mechanics relatively nearby service stations if you need any repair work done en route. Check the tire pressure and add air if needed at these stops, too!

When examining your RV’s tires, you’ll want to check the whole tire for uneven wear as well as dry cracks. Make sure to check both the back side and the face. Take a look at the tread interior, too, as it’s a prime spot for cracks to show up and spread like wildfire.
Keep a Stocked Tire Kit
Your new or used RV should definitely have a spare tire on hand as well as a tire repair kit with extra supplies. The repair kit should include the following:
